Maurice Houston, who was our Rector from April 2013, retired on 31st August 2016.
The Reverend Canon Fred Tomlinson, Rector of St.Peter’s Lutton Place, will be our interim pastor over the next few months until a new Rector is appointed. He will also see Sarah through the final year of her curacy.
Curate: The Revd. Sarah Shaw
Sarah worked in University administration, workplace training, and then teaching, before finishing her theological training through the Theological Institute of the Scottish Episcopal Church. She was a member of St. Serf’s Church, Burntisland, in the Diocese of St. Andrews prior to being ordained, where she was on the lay ministry team and sang in the choir. Sarah became Curate at St. Cuthbert’s in September 2014 and was Ordained Priest in September 2015. She is interested in the areas of Christian discipleship and how we live out our faith in today’s world.

Support Staff and Lay Workers
Mary Moffett (Support Worker for Elderly People)
Mary has been the Support Worker for Older People for St Cuthberts since early 1998. She has a science degree from St. Andrews and a BD from New College, Edinburgh, and spent fifteen years cooking in restaurants and running a wholefood shop. Mary works 12 hours a week providing imaginative pastoral and spiritual support and encouragement to the older members of our congregation and community. Her work is loosely based around our Thursday Service.
